During my recent family stay at this charming hotel by the Elbe, we found it to be quite accommodating for all ages. The location is picturesque, nestled within a village that feels both welcoming and vibrant. A highlight was the hotel's access to the Malerweg long-distance hiking trail, which encouraged us to explore the breathtaking surroundings. Cycling and hiking were perfect daytime activities for us, allowing us to soak in the stunning scenery. The hotel provided a convenient Tesla charge point—super useful for electric car travelers. The bar and restaurant were family-friendly, and we enjoyed evening meals together in a cozy, well-decorated space. Breakfast each morning had a solid variety, fueling our adventures. On the property, my kids loved the playground, while I appreciated the small library for some quiet reading time. We also couldn’t resist discovering the lovely local vendors and the exceptional beer garden at the mill nearby. It was a place where families can find comfort, excitement, and a connection to nature.
